I just returned from participating in a 3-day Level 1 FASTER Saves Lives training, and my heart is full. I had the privilege of walking alongside a group of courageous teachers and administrators as they went through the training- many of whom came in unsure, hesitant, and quietly questioning whether they belonged there. But something beautiful happened over those three days. I watched their confidence grow, their doubts fade, and their mindset shift. You could see it on their faces- the realization that they can protect their students, that they do have what it takes. It was powerful. It was inspiring. And it left me more hopeful than ever.

You don’t need to be an expert. You don’t need military or law enforcement experience. What you need is a heart that says, “I’m willing to learn. I’m willing to try. I’m willing to show up.” And that alone makes you powerful.
